40 Years of Dolly Magic
On April 10, 1986, Dollywood opened as a modest music theater—and over 40 seasons, it has become a beacon of joy in the Smokies. This year, we celebrate four decades of family laughter, soaring concerts, and peach cobbler happiness.
“Smoky Mountain Memories,” a limited-time exhibit, traces the park’s evolution with rare artifacts and behind-the-scenes stories. “Double the Taps” welcomes craft brews inspired by Dolly’s Coat of Many Colors palette. And after dark, surprise guests light up the Dreamsong stage.
So raise a glass, grab a pink Croc, and tip your hat to the woman who showed us how to love the mountains—and each other.
